BRIEF PROFILE

Dr. Anita Kulkarni has post MD anaesthesia experience of more than 30 years . She has extensive experience as Onco-anaesthesiologist in managing all types of Oncology cases for more than 26 years at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and RC, one of the leading Tertiary Care Cancer Institute in Delhi.

Dr. Anita Kulkarni has expertise in managing Head and Neck Cancer surgeries with difficult airway, gastrointestinal, Uro-gynaecological surgeries, HIPEC, Thoracic, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, tracheal tumour resections and NORA . She has vast experience of more than 12 years of anaesthesia for Robotic surgeries including uro-gynaecology, GI, Thorax and TORS.

She was In-charge Minor OT and Locum Director Anaesthesia at RGCI&RC with administrative and academic responsibilities. She was involved in cancer pain management.

Dr. Anita Kulkarni has been DNB guide at RGCI&RC for number of DNB students and actively involved in research and teaching. She has about 30 publications in various national and international anaesthesia journals. She has various presentations as faculty and free papers at national and international anaesthesia conferences including American Society of Anaesthesiology (ASA) and European Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (ESAIC).

Dr. Anita Kulkarni has done Observer ship in  Anaesthesia at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA in 2016 under the supervisor Dr. Ala Nozari. MGH is one of the top hospitals in USA with 60 OT leading in research and recent advances in anaesthesia. She also also visited ether dome at MGH where first successful demonstration of Ether anaesthesia was performed by WTG Morton on 16 October 1846, the day been celebrated as World Anaesthesia Day.
